The Mustard Museum is home of the world's largest collection of prepared mustards - over 4,300 jars, bottles, and tubes from all 50 states and more than 60 countries. When you are in Wisconsin, plan a stop in Mount Horeb to see us. You'll enjoy our Museum Gallery, French's MustardPiece Theater, and of course sampling hundreds of our mustards and sauces with the assistance of one of our Confidential Condiment Counselors. And of course you'll find lots of fun gifts and souvenirs from good 'ol POUPON U, America's Mustard College.
The Mustard Museum began when Barry Levenson found himself awash in grief after his beloved Red Sox lost the seventh game of the 1986 World Series. He went to an all-night grocery, roamed the aisles, and heard the voice coming from the mustards: "If you collect us, they will come." He did and they have.
Nobody knows mustard like the folks at the Mount Horeb Mustard Museum. Ever since Barry started collecting mustards in 1986, we've been tasting and enjoying mustards from all over the world. Our collection stands at over 4,300 mustards. We sell oodles of different mustards - nearly 500 at last count. The bottom line - WE KNOW MUSTARD! Visit Mustard Museum Online
Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream
Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company, Inc. is a family owned and operated ice cream manufacturing and retailing business. We started our company in 1962 in Madison, Wisconsin and now distribute our products throughout Wisconsin. Chuck and Nancy Deadman who started the business are now semi-retired. Their sons Chuck Jr. and Dave now run the business along with Chuck Jr's wife, Jacque and daughter, Amanda.
Our main product line consists of 3-gallon cartons of super premium ice cream, yogurt, sherbet, and sorbet that we manufacture in Madison. Our products are sold through our 3 company owned retail stores in Madison, as well as to independently owned and operated ice cream stores and restaurants that feature the Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream brand of ice cream. Our distribution covers the State of Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota, northeastern Iowa, and northeastern Illinois, and Upper Michigan.
Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream has carved a niche in the ice cream world by building our brand as the "Dairy State's" super premium ice cream. We have won the Seal of Excellence Award at the Wisconsin State Fair every year since we started competing in 1983. In addition, our Super Premium Strawberry Ice Cream was rated best in the United States at the 2001 National Ice Cream and Yogurt Retailers Association Convention.
